Bringing people together and winning...
The ODIN On Time module is designed to offer a powerful total process planning and execution system. It has been developed alongside use within major Retail and Brands making it proven as fit for purpose, by balancing functionality with usability.
Delivered with standard template sets covering recognised best practice New Product Development (NPD), that can be used both without amendment or more typically to form the basis for configured NPD process definitions.
To enable the latter ODIN On Time provides a simple to use tool-set that allows authorised personnel to create new activities, amend existing activities and re-organise processes. The standard and amended templates form a library that a Project Manager can then use to develop anything from a complex new range through to a small packaging amendment to a single product.
Once a project is setup and released ODIN On Time takes control of the process proactively driving the required activities in the planned time frame by offering capabilities including:
- Communicating the planned activities to all stakeholders
- Providing a simple to follow work plan via a bespoke configurable and
- widget driven home page for all users
- Giving all stakeholders the ability to track the process
- Identifying potential bottlenecks or resource issues
- Reporting actual against planned times for activities
- Reporting on overdue activities for expediting
The solution includes the following sub modules:
Project Strategy Brief
Clients need the ability to communicate the strategic rationale for undertaking projects to ensure that all stakeholders understand the rationale and more importantly buy-into the programme. This functionality allows users to have a unique stand alone section of ODIN to capture such rationale and have a pre-determined sign off route prior to the execution of the programme in the first place.
Administration and Template Maintenance
To respond to the challenge of the Brand Development process requiring ever faster routines, ODIN On Time supports the definition of clients templates processes. The template manager includes the capability to create and amend workflows, set RACI assumptions (Responsible, accountable, consulted and Informed) levels of notifications, set gates, sequence activities and plan lags and contingencies according to known capabilities.
Push Project Management
The challenge within a Brand Owner is to effectively manage the current schedule of launches of NPD. To do this each stakeholder needs communication and visibility of the plan and their role in making it work.
Push Project management includes the capability to; schedule and re-schedule the project inside a business rules set, amend template content for specific projects, allocate people to roles within projects, distribute tasks to the stakeholders within a priority sequence governed by date, allow for manual sign-off of tasks by users including delegation rules and automatically complete tasks with associated brief completion.
Project Assessor and Chaser
Managers of Brands/Departments/Projects require effective management reports to assist them in: assessing workloads, progress chasing, identifying bottlenecks and tracking the progress at appropriate levels. Measurement is the key to improvement. The suite of best practice reports available in ODIN On Time allows measurement and therefore improvement opportunities.
